Pre-announcement: 2025 Croucher Summer Course in Information Theory (CSCIT 2025)
CSCIT 2025 will bring together PhD students and post-doctoral scholars from across Asia to learn and discuss cutting-edge research with world-renowned professors in information theory and computer science.

CSCIT registration fee: HKD 1800 (approx. USD 230)*
The CSCIT registration fee includes: participation in all summer school activities, a shared room in a CUHK student dormitory for 6 nights (Sunday, 3 August 2025, to Saturday, 9 August 2025), breakfast, lunches and refreshments (Monday to Friday), and 3 evening meals (on the nights with group activities).
*Participants may apply for financial support in the form of a (partial) reimbursement of the registration and/or travel costs.
How do I apply?
Please note that your application requires the submission of a 1-page-long abstract and a poster (both as pdf files).
The one-page abstract may be original/unpublished work or may be already published work. This abstract is only for the purpose of participant selection. Note that no proceedings will be generated.
The poster should contain some related exposition of the submitted abstract and should have size A1, portrait mode [594mm (width) x 841mm (height)].
We encourage the participation of junior graduate students who do not yet have original research to present at the summer school. They should submit a “tutorial-style” presentation on a topic of their interest. Please indicate that it is “tutorial-style” on both the poster and the abstract.
Deadline for submission: 30 April 2025. [Do not submit yet as the application page is under construction.]
Acceptance dates: 1-15 June 2025.
We expect to accept a total of 15 local and 30 non-local participants.
CSCIT encourages the exchange of ideas and building of relationships. All participants will stay on Campus at C.W. Chu College.
